Amendment #426 to H4200

Timing Discrepancies

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Hill of Ipswich, Poirier of North Attleborough, Gifford of Wareham, Frost of Auburn and Smola of Warren moves to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 2100-0015, by inserting after the words “motor carrier companies” the following:-

“; provided, that for the purpose of accommodating timing discrepancies between the receipt of retained revenues and related expenditure, the department may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate as reported in the state accounting system”.
