Amendment #451 to H4200

Improve school building safety and security for the Hingham, Hull and Cohasset Public School systems

Mr. Bradley of Hingham moves to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 7010-0005, in line 2, by inserting after the word "education" the following: “provided further, that the department shall allocate not less than $111,500 to the Hingham Public Schools for additional exterior cameras, surveillance cameras for school busses, to revise and update the district’s multi-hazard Plan and Manual, and  for additional staff safety training; provided further, that the department shall allocate not less than $113,794 to the Hull Public Schools for a school resource officer, school security camera enhancements and a safety consultant who will provide district security training; provided further, that the department shall allocate not less than $100,000 to the Cohasset Public Schools for a school resource officer.”, and in said line item by striking out the figures “$12,270,245” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$12,595,539”.
