Ensuring inclusive language for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities

Mr. Sannicandro of Ashland moves to amend the bill, in Section 2, in item 4510-0710, by inserting after the word “intellectual” the following:-

or developmental

And further, in said Section 2, in item 5930-1000, by inserting after the word “intellectual” the following:-

or developmental

And further, in said Section 2, in said item 5930-1000, by striking out, in each instance, the phrase “ICFs/IID” and inserting in place thereof the following:-

ICFs/PWD

And further, in said Section 2, in item 5948-0012, by inserting after the word “intellectual” the following:-

or developmental
