Amendment #503 to H4200

Substance Abuse Prevention and Narcotic Use Reduction Program

Mr. Collins of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 2, by inserting after line item 4510-0110, the following item:

“4510-XXXX. For the continuation of a comprehensive substance abuse and narcotic use reduction program, in furtherance of chapter 52 of the acts of 2016, the purpose of which is to decrease and ultimately eliminate, through the use of therapeutic alternatives, the unnecessary use of narcotics for chronic pain management particularly in the elderly and young adult patient population at a federally qualified community health center located in South Boston….$200,000”
