Amendment #512 to H4200

Municipal Recycling Grants - Clean Environment Fund

Representatives Koczera of New Bedford, Schmid of Westport, Moran of Lawrence and Walsh of Framingham move to amend the bill in section 2 by inserting after line item 2200-0107, the following item:

“2200-XXXX For state and municipal grants for recycling, solid waste management, and composting; sustainable material recovery; and recycling equipment and infrastructure improvements. There shall be established a separate fund to be known as the Clean Environment Fund credited with 40 percent of unclaimed bottle deposits under section 323D of Chapter 94 of the Massachusetts General Laws”
