Representatives Ferguson of Holden, Ashe of Longmeadow, Barrows of Mansfield, Benson of Lunenburg, Cantwell of Marshfield, Cutler of Duxbury, D'Emilia of Bridgewater, DuBois of Brockton, Dwyer of Woburn, Ferrante of Gloucester, Garballey of Arlington, Gifford of Wareham, Gordon of Bedford, Gregoire of Marlborough, Hecht of Watertown, Hunt of Sandwich, Kane of Shrewsbury, Khan of Newton, Koczera of New Bedford, Linsky of Natick, McMurtry of Dedham, Pignatelli of Lenox, Poirier of North Attleborough, Puppolo of Springfield, Rogers of Norwood, Sannicandro of Ashland, Schmid of Westport, Smizik of Brookline, Timilty of Milton, Dykema of Holliston and Walsh of Framingham move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4120-6000, by inserting the following: “notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC) shall establish a regional multi-service center to be located in the northeast section of the Commonwealth and, subject to the availability of funds” and in said item by striking out the figures “$15,898,807” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$17,227,715”.
