Amendment #533 to H4200

Municipal Police Staffing Grant

Representatives Moran of Lawrence, Devers of Lawrence and DiZoglio of Methuen move to amend the bill in section 2, line item 1599-0026, in line 10, by inserting after “Fund;” the following: “provided further that $6,000,000 shall be transferred to the executive office of public safety and security for a competitive municipal police staffing grant program to be administered by the office for staffing police departments and to support municipal improvements;” and in said item by striking out the figure “5,240,000” and inserting in place thereof the figure “11,240,000”.
