Mr. Durant of Spencer moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4400-1000, in line 25, by inserting after “basis;” the following: “provided further, that no less than $350,000 shall be expended for the installation and staffing of metal detectors in department branches in the cities of Worcester and Southbridge;”.
