Amendment #597 to H4200

Community-Based Residential Services Report

Ms. Garlick of Needham moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 5920-2000 by adding the following: “; and provided further that the department shall submit a report to the house and senate chairs of the joint committee on ways and means on community-based residential adult services each quarter. This report shall include, but not be limited to, the following: (i) the number of individuals and their age served by community-based residential adult services; (ii) the number of individuals who turned 22 years of age during fiscal year 2016 who are eligible for community-based residential adult services and the fiscal impact of these services; (iii) the number of individuals transitioning from community-based residential adult services to shared living services and the status of these individuals every four months; (iv) the average cost of community-based residential adult services per individual based on age in five year increments; (v) the fiscal impact of the changes to the reimbursement rate as established in chapter 257 of the acts of 2008; and (vi) the status and fiscal impact of funding from all other sources".
