Amendment #675 to H4200

An Amendment on the Debarment of State Contractors for Poor Performance / Inadequate Services

Representatives Diehl of Whitman and DeCoste of Norwell move to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

“SECTION XX. Section 29F of chapter 29 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following subsection:-

(j) The commissioner or secretary shall impose debarment upon a contractor or person if more than 2 prior contracts with public agencies resulted in the delivery of a public contract that involved either (a) fatalities, (b) cost overruns of 150% or more, or (c) completion schedule delays of 6 months or more”.
