Amendment #678 to H4200

Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Student Enrollment Reporting Deadline Extension

Representatives D'Emilia of Bridgewater, Jones of North Reading, Gifford of Wareham, Muratore of Plymouth, Orrall of Lakeville, Heroux of Attleboro, Muradian of Grafton, Cutler of Duxbury, Diehl of Whitman and O'Connell of Taunton move to amend the bill by adding the following section:

“SECTION XX. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, all cities and towns in the Commonwealth with an influx of students after the October 1 student enrollment reporting deadline shall be eligible for a reporting deadline extension from October 1 to December 15 of a school year to accurately report student enrollment by grade.”.
