Amendment #743 to H4200

Western Massachusetts Regional Branding Initiative

Mr. Wagner of Chicopee moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7008-0900, by inserting after “within the commonwealth” the following: -

“; provided further that not less than $250,000 shall be expended for the Economic Development Council of Western Massachusetts for the development and implementation of a regional branding initiative to promote job-growth, tourism, and economic development in Western Massachusetts;” and in said item by striking out the figure “$4,343,665” and inserting in place thereof  “$4,593,665”.
