Amendment #761 to H4200

IT Upgrade MCAS 2.0 Reimbursement

Representatives Orrall of Lakeville, Gifford of Wareham, D'Emilia of Bridgewater, Muratore of Plymouth, McKenna of Webster, Cantwell of Marshfield, DeCoste of Norwell, Dwyer of Woburn, Fiola of Fall River, Garry of Dracut and O'Connell of Taunton move to amend the bill by adding the following new section: -

 

“SECTION XX. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the state treasurer shall annually, on or before November twentieth, reimburse any city, town, regional school district or independent vocational school for expenditures, as defined by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, incurred during the previous fiscal year for upgrading informational technology hardware, software and training for compliance with the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System 2.0. ”.
