Community Preservation Trust Fund net surplus transfer

Representatives Kocot of Northampton, Jones of North Reading, Haddad of Somerset, Peake of Provincetown, Kafka of Stoughton, Fernandes of Milford, Ferrante of Gloucester, Schmid of Westport, Hogan of Stow, Sannicandro of Ashland, Scibak of South Hadley, Dykema of Holliston, Smizik of Brookline, Khan of Newton, Vieira of Falmouth, D'Emilia of Bridgewater, Parisella of Beverly, Ashe of Longmeadow, Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield, Gentile of Sudbury, Pignatelli of Lenox, Cantwell of Marshfield, Fiola of Fall River, Decker of Cambridge, Puppolo of Springfield, Provost of Somerville, Mirra of West Newbury, Madden of Nantucket, Ultrino of Malden, Hecht of Watertown, Garry of Dracut, Rogers of Cambridge, Garlick of Needham, Rogers of Norwood, Vega of Holyoke and McMurtry of Dedham move to amend the bill by adding the following section:

"SECTION XXXX.  Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, prior to transferring the consolidated net surplus in the budgetary funds for fiscal year 2016 to the Commonwealth Stabilization Fund under section 5C of chapter 29 of the General Laws, the comptroller shall transfer $25,000,000 to the Massachusetts Community Preservation Trust Fund established in section 9 of chapter 44B of the General Laws. ".
