Assistance Dogs for Veterans

Representatives Ferguson of Holden, Ayers of Quincy, Barrows of Mansfield, Berthiaume of Spencer, Brodeur of Melrose, D'Emilia of Bridgewater, Ferrante of Gloucester, Fox of Boston, Gonzalez of Springfield, Gordon of Bedford, Howitt of Seekonk, Jones of North Reading, Kane of Shrewsbury, Khan of Newton, Kuros of Uxbridge, McKenna of Webster, Muradian of Grafton, Muratore of Plymouth, Murphy of Weymouth, O'Connell of Taunton, Puppolo of Springfield, Rogers of Norwood, Rosa of Leominster, Sannicandro of Ashland, Schmid of Westport, Vega of Holyoke, Walsh of Framingham, Whipps Lee of Athol and Zlotnik of Gardner move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 1410-0010, by adding the following: "that not less than $85,000 shall be expended for the NEADS Assistance Dogs for Veterans program to train assistance dogs for veterans”.
