Vacation Time and Sick Time Conversion

Mr. Jones of North Reading moves to amend the bill by adding at the end the following new section:

“Section X. Notwithstanding any special or general law to the contrary, unused vacation leave that is not eligible to be carried over to the following calendar year, shall be converted to a sick leave bank administered by individual state agencies, as defined by section 1 of chapter 29 General Laws, as so appearing in the 2014 Official Edition.”.
