Representatives Wagner of Chicopee, Walsh of Framingham, Sannicandro of Ashland, Finn of West Springfield, Gordon of Bedford, McMurtry of Dedham, Linsky of Natick, Khan of Newton, Moran of Lawrence, Tosado of Springfield, Heroux of Attleboro, Cariddi of North Adams, Ashe of Longmeadow, Kocot of Northampton, Provost of Somerville, Scibak of South Hadley, Toomey of Cambridge, Cusack of Braintree and Mom of Lowell move to amend the bill, in section 2, by striking out item 7004-9322 and inserting in place thereof the following item:

“7004-9322 For the Secure Jobs Connect pilot program for job training, job search services and 12 months of housing stabilization services, if not otherwise available, to families receiving assistance under items 7004-0101, 7004-0108, 7004-9024 or 7004-9316; provided, that the program shall be administered by agencies that have demonstrated experience working in partnership with regional administering agencies, including, but not limited to: Community Teamwork, Inc.; Father Bill's & MainSpring, Inc.; HAP, Inc.; Jewish Vocational Services; South Middlesex Opportunity Council; Worcester Community Action Council; and SER-Jobs for Progress, Inc.; provided further, that the department shall utilize rental assistance provided under item 7004-9024 to ensure effective participation under this program; and provided further, that participating agencies shall seek additional federal, state or private funds to ensure the effective continuation of regional partnerships … $2,000,000”
