Operation of Automotive Lifts

Ms. L'Italien moves to amend the bill by striking out all after enacting clause and inserting in place thereof the following text:-

“Section 62A of chapter 149 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- Section 62 shall not prohibit a minor from using an automotive lift as part of a course of study and training in a vocational technical education program or a co-operative education program as defined in section 1 of chapter 74 in which the minor is enrolled; provided, however, that the use shall be under the direct and close supervision of a qualified and experienced person.”.
