Floor Amendment

Mr. Speliotis of Danvers moves to amend the bill moves to concur with the Senate in its amendment to House, No. 4306 and to further amend the bill by striking out subsection (c) and inserting in place thereof the following subsection:-

“(c) Once issued, the licensing authority shall not approve the transfer of the license granted pursuant to this act to any other person, partnership, corporation, limited liability company, organization or other entity.  The licensee shall obtain approval from the licensing authority in order to transfer the license to a new location, which may only be in the area between Elm street and Walnut street that is between County street and route 18 in the city of New Bedford.”.
