The Purchase of Motor Vehicles at Auction by Municipalities

Ms. Peisch of Wellesley moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

SECTION XX. Chapter 140 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following section:-

Section 57A. Any person or company engaged in the business of conducting auctions for the sale of motor vehicles shall allow any agent acting on behalf of a municipality to attend said auctions and purchase motor vehicles.
