Amendment #9 to H4397

Liens for Unpaid Sewer and Water Bills

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Hill of Ipswich, Poirier of North Attleborough, Gifford of Wareham, Frost of Auburn and Smola of Warren move to amend the bill by inserting the following new section:-

"SECTION XX. Section 42A of chapter 40 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “deeds”, in line 5, the following words:- , and files a copy of said certificate with the collector of taxes of the city or town in which the lien hereinafter mentioned is to take effect."
