Amendment #4 to H4459

Relative to Reducing the Amount a Licensee Has to Pay for Intrastate Simulcasts if the Host Association Reduces its Takeout Below the Maximum Allowed

Ms. Vincent of Revere moves to amend the bill by adding the following new section at the end thereof:

 

Section X. Notwithstanding section 2 of chapter 128C of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, if a racing meeting licensee conducting live racing in the Commonwealth elects to reduce the takeout for any one or more of its live races below the maximum permitted by section 5 of chapter 128A of the General Laws, the fee that other racing meeting licensees are required to pay pursuant to said section 2 of said chapter 128C for intrastate simulcasts of such races shall be reduced by the proportion by which the licensee holding the live races has reduced its takeout.
