Amendment #136 to H4461

Tax credit sunset dates

Mr. Kaufman of Lexington moves to amend the bill by adding the following 2 sections:

SECTION XX. Chapter 23A of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following section:- Section 67. No tax credit shall be awarded under this chapter on or after January 1, 2022.

SECTION XX. Chapter 40V of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following section:- Section 6. No tax credit or tax exemption shall be awarded under this chapter on or after January 1, 2022.

Mr. Kaufman further moves to amend the bill by inserting, in line 1210, the following sentence:- This deduction shall expire on January 1, 2022.

Mr. Kaufman further moves to amend the bill by inserting, in line 1387, the following:- (7) No tax credit shall be awarded under this subsection on or after January 1, 2022.
