Amendment #20 to H4461

Transportation improvements in the Town of Chelmsford

Representatives Nangle of Lowell and Golden of Lowell move to amend the bill by adding at the end the following section:-

"Section XX. The Commonwealth shall allocate, encumber, and spend no less than $ 6,750,000 dollars in newly authorized economic development funds in partnership with, and direct support of/ to, the Town of Chelmsford, by a date no later than June 30, 2017, in order to assist, prompt, implement and subsidize Transportation Improvements in the Billerica Road Corridor; with the expressed goal to spur jobs, construction and physical progress with private development within this corridor by June 30, 2018."
