Amendment #4 to H4461
Transparency in Employee Benefits Reporting
Ms. Dykema of Holliston moves to amend the bill by adding the following sections:
SECTION XX. Chapter 151A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition is hereby amended by inserting in section 9 the following section:-
Section 10. For any development that is in excess of $250,000 or more, the developer and Construction Class Employer shall provide upon request, proof of Certificate of Compliance with the State’s Unemployment Insurance Laws for all employees on jobsite, issued By the Division of Unemployment Administration of Massachusetts for inspection at jobsite by the local building department of Inspectional Services of a City / Town and Inspectors of the States Attorney General’s office or their designee.
SECTION XX. Section 6 of chapter 152 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-
For any development that is in excess of $250,000 or more, the developer and Construction Class Employer shall provide upon request, proof of Insurance for all employees on jobsite, in compliance with the state’s Workers Compensation Laws of Massachusetts, upon request at jobsite by the local building department of Inspectional Services of a City/Town and Inspectors of the Attorney General’s office or their designee.
