Apprentice Training Programs

Representatives Ferrante of Gloucester and Gentile of Sudbury move to amend the bill by adding the following new section

Section X. Chapter 23, Section 11K of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after subsection (f) the following subsection:

Section 11K (g) On all public construction jobs, the construction class employer shall commit to having an apprentice on the jobsite within 180 calendar days. This provision may not apply if a scheduled job is scheduled for completion prior to 180 calendar days.
