Amendment #1 to H4504

An Act amending certain effective dates for the fiscal year 2017 General Appropriations Act

The committee on Bills in the Third Reading recommends that the bill be amended Reports recommending that the amendment recommended by His Excellency the Governor be considered in the following form:

"Engrossed Bill amending certain effective dates for the fiscal year 2017 General Appropriations Act (see House, No. 4504) being section 201 contained in the Engrossed Bill making appropriations for the fiscal year 2017 for the maintenance of the departments, boards, commissions, institutions and certain activities of the commonwealth, for interest, sinking fund and serial bond requirements and for certain permanent improvements (see House, No. 4450), which was returned by His Excellency the Governor pursuant to Article LVI with recommendation of amendment specified by him, (see Attachment W of House, No. 4505)"

By striking out all after the enacting clause and inserting in place thereof the following:

“SECTION 1. Sections  108, 111, 113 and 115 of chapter 133 of the acts of 2016 shall take effect on January 1, 2017.

SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect as of July 1, 2016.”
