Covered Employees

Mr. Jones of North Reading moves to amend the bill in Section 201, subsection a, by striking it in its entirety and replacing it with the following:-

"Section 201.(a) For purposes of chapter 151A of the General Laws, the PEO shall be responsible for the payment of contributions, penalties, and interest on wages paid by the PEO to any covered employees during the term of a professional employer agreement with a client."
