Signature certification

Ms. Flanagan moves to amend the bill in section 2, by striking out the last sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:- “Within 24 hours of receipt, the town clerk shall submit the petition to the board of registrars of voters of the town and the board of registrars shall immediately certify the number of signatures.”.
