Certificates of annual reports

Mr. Scaccia of Boston moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

“Section 6 (a) is hereby amended in the second sentence  by adding the following clause:-  “ and if the taxpayer is a corporation, limited liability company,  limited liability partnership or other business entity that is required to file annual reports with the secretary of state , the taxpayer provides the commissioner with a certificate from the secretary indicating that it is in good standing  issued not more than 30 days  from the date of submission."
