2nd Redraft Further Amendment 81.1

An Amendment Furthering Education Savings Accounts

Mr. Fattman moves to further amend amendment #81 to further the underlying amendment by striking the amendment in it's entirety and inserting thereof the following new section:-

“Section _. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the department of elementary and secondary education in conjunction with the department of children and families and the executive office of administration and finance shall conduct a study on the feasibility of creating education savings accounts for any student who has an active duty military parent serving in the armed forces or parent was killed while serving active duty; or student who was a ward of the state and has been adopted is currently in foster care. Said study along with any recommendations shall be submitted to the clerks of the house and senate, the joint committee on education and the house and senate committees on ways and means by December 31, 2015.”
