Penalties for Re-homing

Ms. Creem and Mr. Brownsberger move to amend the bill by striking in line 107 the words “the state prison for not more than 20 years and by a fine of not more than $25,000” and replacing them with the following:- “a jail or a house of correction for not more than 2 ½ years, or in the state prison for not more than 20 years, or by a fine of not more than $25,000, or by both such fine and imprisonment”.
