Encouraging the use of paraprofessionals in priority schools

Messrs. Barrett and Rodrigues move to amend the bill , in section 7, by inserting, in line 209, after the figure “(x)”, the following words:-

“provide for increased usage of teachers’ aides or other paraprofessionals to provide educational support, including but not limited to tutoring, instructional assistance and parental involvement activities; (xi)”

and further moves to amend it, in section 7, by striking out, in line 212, the figure “(xi)” and inserting in place thereof the figure “(xii)”

and further moves to amend it, in section 7, by striking out, in line 213, the figure “(xii)” and inserting in place thereof the figure “(xiii)”

and further moves to amend it, in section 7, by striking out, in line 215, the figure “(xiii)” and inserting in place thereof the figure “(xiv)”.
