Evidence of purchasing or declining coverage

Mr. Keenan moves to amend the bill by striking out, in lines 52 and 53, the words "in a form approved by the insurer is provided to each occupant who purchases the coverage" and inserting in place thereof the following words:- "or a voluntary declination of coverage, in a form approved by the insurer, is provided to each occupant to whom coverage is offered; provided, however, that if insurance is required as a condition of rental under subclause (3) of clause (i), the requirement of evidence of a voluntary declination of coverage shall not apply".
