Sale of Products

Ms. O'Connor Ives moves to amend the bill deleting in Section 1, lines 17 to lines 21, and inserting the following:-

"(b) A manufacturer or retailer shall not sell, offer or manufacture for sale, distribute in commerce or import into the commonwealth any children’s product, bedding, clothing, carpeting, window treatments, or residential and commercial upholstered furniture, except for inventory manufactured prior to January 1, 2017, that contains any of the following chemical flame retardants the total weight of which exceeds 1,000 parts per million for any component part of the product or furniture:"
