Allowing Waiver of In-Law Apartment Requirement in Return for Increased Density

Messrs. Brownsberger and Joyce move to amend the bill in Section 5, by inserting at the end thereof, the following sentence:- "The department of housing and community development may by regulation provide that a municipality may be relieved from the provisions of this section by achieving multi-family density greater than otherwise required under Section 3A of this chapter."
