Master Plan Energy Management Element

Mr. Barrett moves to amend the bill in section 25 by striking out subclause (iii)(D), beginning in line 655, and inserting in place thereof the following:- “(D) an evaluation of locally feasible land use and development strategies to maximize energy efficiency and renewable energy, support land, energy, water and materials conservation strategies, local clean power generation, distributed generation technologies and innovative industries, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the consumption of fossil fuels;”.
