Allowing for advancements in technology

Mr. Keenan moves to amend the amendment by striking the words "and (vi)" in line 162 and inserting in place thereof the words:- "(vi) allow for a periodic review and revision of long-term contracts, by the mutual agreement of the developer and the distribution companies, when such revisions would increase economic and environmental benefits through the adoption of upgraded technologies that were not available when the contracts were originally signed; and (vii)"

and further by striking the words "and (vi)" in line 317 and inserting in place thereof the words:- "(vi) allow for a periodic review and revision of long-term contracts, by the mutual agreement of the developer and the distribution companies, when such revisions would increase economic and environmental benefits through the adoption of upgraded technologies that were not available when the contracts were originally signed; and (vii)"
