Diversity Data Collection

Ms. Forry moves to amend the amendment in section 86, in proposed subsection (d) of section 44A½ of chapter 149 of the General Laws, by adding the following 2 sentences:- “The supplier diversity office established in section 58A of chapter 7 shall establish a data collection program to collect data  surrounding meaningful participation in construction and design projects by minority owned businesses, women owned business and veteran owned businesses in order to ensure compliance with this section. The supplier diversity office shall biannually submit a report to the clerks of the senate and house of representatives who shall forward the same to the chairs of the joint committee on state administration.”.
