Lower Minimum Wage

Mr. Tarr moves to amend the bill by inserting after section _ the following section:-

Section _.  Section 1 of chapter 151, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by adding the following sentence:-

Notwithstanding the provisions of this section, no wage more than $1.00 per hour more than the effective federal minimum rate shall be presumed to be oppressive or unreasonable if the employer provides the wage collector family and medical leave as established under Chapter 175M as inserted in this act
