Floor Amendment

Mr. Speliotis of Danvers moves to amend the bill , by striking out section 3, as inserted by an amendment by the House (see House, No. 4719) and inserting in place thereof the following section:-

“SECTION 3. Section 1 shall take effect July 1, 2018.”; and by adding the following emergency preamble:-

“Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to require forthwith automated external defibrillator’s in schools, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.”.
