GIC Out of Pocket Costs

Mr. Eldridge moved that the proposed new text be amended by inserting after section XX, the following new section:-

“SECTION XX. Section 6 of Chapter 32A is hereby amended by inserting after the words “ten C,” the following:-

Provided, that no Group Insurance Commission subscriber on an individual or family plan shall be required to pay more than $3,000 in out-of-pocket costs annually. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Group Insurance Commission shall be required to reimburse, on an annual basis, any subscriber who exceeds the $3,000 out-of pocket maximum in co-pays, deductibles, or co-insurance.”
