Taunton Education and Training Collaborative

Mr. Pacheco moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7008-0900, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $275,000 shall be expended to the education and training collaborative established in section 9 of chapter 419 of the acts of 2008 for the operation of the life sciences, education and training center located at the former Paul A. Dever state school in the city of Taunton; provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended to improve services and facilities at the Taunton Animal Care Facility in the city of Taunton, not to be used for administrative purposes; provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended to improve services and facilities at the Dighton Animal Shelter in the town of Dighton, not to be used for administrative purposes; provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended to improve services and facilities at the Middleboro Animal Shelter in the town of Middleborough;”
