Messrs. Welch and Lesser and Ms. Gobi moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7004-3036, by inserting the following:- "provided, that not less than $75,000 shall be expended for the operation of the Springfield Housing Authority’s Talk/Read/Succeed! program"; and, in said item 7004-3036 by striking out the figure "$2,641,992" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "$2,716,992".
