Double Poles

Mr. Lewis, Ms. Gobi and Mr. O'Connor moved that the proposed new text be amended by inserting at the end thereof the following new section:--

SECTION X.  Section 34B of chapter 164 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:--  A city or town may, by enactment of an ordinance or bylaw, impose a fine not to exceed $1,000 for a violation of the requirement that an existing pole, in a non-commercial or non-industrial approved construction project, be removed from the site within 90 days from the date of installation of the new pole.
