Municipal Technical Assistance

Ms. Creem moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7004-0099, by adding at the end thereof the following:-

“; provided further, that the department shall, no later than September 1, 2016, establish a Technical Assistance Fund, to be administered through the housing partnership fund, in order to provide grants to all communities where no fewer than five project eligibility letters have been issued within the previous 15 months to developers advancing projects under sections 20-23 of chapter 40B of the General Laws with the requirement that said funds shall be appropriated for the purpose of completing a technical review of each pending project, and said grants shall be for not less than $25,000 per eligible project and awarded no later than September 30, 2016” and further amended by striking the figures “6,387,921” and inserting in place thereof the figures “6,687,921”
