Committee Rules

Mr. Tarr moves to amend the order in joint rule 1 by inserting after the sentence, “Within 4 weeks of the appointment of joint standing committees in the first annual session of the General Court, each joint standing committee shall adopt rules of procedure regarding its conduct.”, the following:— “Such rules shall be adopted by a majority vote of the committee members of the appropriate branch.”
