Amendment #11 to S735

Restricting sex offender access to locker rooms, showers, steam rooms or saunas

Mr. Calter of Kingston moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

“SECTION XX.  Any person who has been convicted of a sexual assault as defined in section 26 of chapter 265 of the General Laws, or who is required to register as a sex offender pursuant to sections 178C to 178P, inclusive, of chapter 6 of the General Laws shall be prohibited from entering locker rooms, showers, steam rooms or saunas of the opposite sex from said person's sex at birth”.
