Amendment #19 to S735

Prohibiting sex offenders

Representatives O'Connell of Taunton, Campanale of Leicester, DeCoste of Norwell, Diehl of Whitman, Dooley of Norfolk, Durant of Spencer, Kuros of Uxbridge and Lyons of Andover move to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

“SECTION XX. Any “sex offender” as defined in Section 178C of Chapter 6, as so appearing in the General Law, will be barred from asserting a gender identity claim to access lawfully sex segregated rest rooms and locker rooms. A “sex offender”’s gender shall be controlled by an individual’s anatomical sex of male or female, regardless of that individual’s gender identity."
