Amendment #7 to S735

Impersonation with Intent to Commit Crime

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Hill of Ipswich, Poirier of North Attleborough, Gifford of Wareham, Frost of Auburn and Smola of Warren move to amend the bill by adding at the end thereof the following:—

“SECTION X. Whoever, with the intent to commit a crime, falsely assumes or pretends to have a gender identity not traditionally associated with the person's physiology or assigned sex at birth to gain access to lawfully sex-segregated bathrooms or locker rooms, shall be punished by a fine of not more than $2,500 or by imprisonment for not more than one year, or both.”
